Looks neat. I think it's cool to see people combining different packages though :P
But who am I, I'm just a nobody!
I've never used Maya but I've used a different 3D package, and did you use some sort of Toon/ Cel Shader when you rendered or what? o.O
Nevertheless, looks pretty cool!

thanks. yes i used the maya toon shader which gives you the option of using solid 2 tones to make things look vectorized and cartoony. I tried vector settings but it didnt give me as much freedom with the shading and if i wanted to do some texturing.
