[Animation tutorial]

Excelent

This def should be up higher. so many people have no idea what theyre doing and simple explinations like this really do help. Good job! One small tip for you, Yes solid lines do look finished and professional, but you should use the pencil lines instead of paint brush lines. It keepsthem sharp and clean instead of getting a few uneven edges, it allows you to alter them easier and animates better in flash. Good job tho

I have done animations with the pencil tool and yes they do look even cleaner but you also lose alot of the cartoonish feeling. The pencil tool is to recommend for more serious animations but judgeing from what people mostly do for starters and also what I personaly prefere to create the brush tool is a better choice in most cases, simply due to it more lively nature.

Its obvious u put time into making this, but i dont think enough. There were many parts where the green lines on his eyes disaperead and other things simliar to that. Drawings and animation werent too great. I just think you need more practice. Im sure you will get better. Good luck

Cool idea, but maybe try to get more effects happening as the text comes up so its not just text moving around as he speaks

Nice idea to rotooscope, but the lack of color and unfinished lines made it look kind of half assed. sorry to be harsh but i just think it looks like u rushed it and could have put in more time to have at least better lines or something

yeah you're right it was rushed. I found out about the Halloween flash off less than a week ago. But the lack of color and unfinished lines were entirely intentional. I was going for an impressionistic approach.

Voices and acting was great. Jokes were funny too. woulda gave it a 10 if the animations were better/smoother but still really funny.

Thanks for the review. I agree that the animation suffers a bit due to being made up of a group of mostly actors and writers, but hopefully we'll only get better from here.

lol, i have yet to see many blond green eyes Colombians lol.

Nice video, but ur animation/movements and drawing need work. Story was nice and the voices/sound and effects were good. Some good jokes, but the animation just took away from it cuz there was barely any movement and the times there were it was very stiff and robotic. I say work on ur drawing skills and learn some better animating techniques and u can have a pretty good series on here.

the smoking law is so people who dont smoke dont have to breathe in smoke when leaving or entering a building b/c someone wants to stand in front of their office to light one up.

Yeah some of these are funny in a way, but would be funnier if u animated the laws. Otherwise its just a slide show or something u could have done on power point.

I know this was posted a long time ago, but just whatevs, saw it now.

really slow

it started slow and the animation was slow, maybe p the frame rate. were u using 12? if yeah go to atleast 24
